Is your classroom ready for the digital frontier?
The Digital Frontier Teachers Corps is a new national professional development program launching in Summer 2026 to help K–12 educators teach data science and artificial intelligence in real, classroom-ready ways. Funded by the National Science Foundation and hosted at New Mexico State University, this five-day in-person training will bring together over 100 educators from across the U.S. to explore how emerging technologies can be taught across subjects—not just computer science, but also math, science, and social studies.
Participants will gain practical tools, join a national learning community, and earn a digital credential recognized by the University of Chicago and the Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA). Whether you’re just getting started or already experimenting with AI tools in your classroom, this program is designed to support, inspire, and connect educators leading the charge into the digital frontier.
